2023

Helped as a game designer in the project Ravi, which was a video game being developed by AlterEVO. Unfortunately, the project ended up being cancelled.What I did: I worked on the Game Design Document with the help of the team's main Game Designer!


2022-2023

I worked at Astral Shift Pro as their cut-scene artist for their upcoming game, Little Goody Two Shoes, published by Square Enix Collective. The game released in 31/10/23.What I did: I choreographed the in-game cut-scenes and also did NPC routing and placement!


I also worked as playtester for a small post-release feature of their remake game, Pocket Mirror GoldenerTraum. The game released in 19/05/23.What I did: I playtested for a few days their new added post-end chapter selection feature!


2020-2022

During my bachelor's degree I worked on several game prototypes. Some were primarily my own original ideas, while others I mostly contributed to expand existing concepts. Here you’ll find a brief intro of said games, including their game design documents, which I edited.

Devil's License is a top-down, point & click, fast-paced 2D game where you play as a devil driving instructor and your objective is to fail as many students as you can. I was the one who originally pitched the idea and designed the game mechanics during the semester during which we worked on the prototype.

Willy The Fixer is a third person puzzle platformer game in which the player is a magical spirit tasked to repair a broken piano, and protect it from evil creatures. In this project I worked mainly as a story writer and character artist, giving ideas on how we could apply the different mechanics to the characters.

Development time: Mar 2021 - Jun 2021

A Type of Adventure is a 2D side-scroller puzzle solving typing game, where the main character is searching to be part of an epic adventure, so that tales of it will live through the ages. In this case I also helped the main game designer in the team in developing new puzzles to be engaging for the player.

Freelance Job

VR Guided tour through JLL 20 Water Street London

This was a freelance job at Exaud where I had to 3D model several objects of the JLL 20 Water Street building, located in London, for an upcoming VR guided tour. The range of items varied but mostly were office wares, such as chairs, desks, sofas, counters, etc. All the models were made in Blender to showcase in the VR prototype for the JLL London company. The freelance was done in one month work.

Workshop Animation

"Girl resting on a tree" of Henrique Pousão

In 2022 the Soares dos Reis Museum held an exhibition of several works from its collection by Portuguese artists from the 19th/20th centuries. This proposal aimed to provide the exhibition with animations, reinterpreting a set of works exhibited according to the Sustainable Development Goals defined by UNESCO. As collaboration with Lusófona University of Porto, some students were selected as participants. The piece I chose was a painting from Henrique Pousão, "Girl resting on a tree". As the piece is very connected with nature itself, I decided to relate with the goal of "Life on Land" - that reflects the combat of desertification and land degradation.

MAD Gamejam

"Bloody Freddy" MAD GameJam 2022

This was a GameJam project made in February 2022 that won 3rd place and honor mentions such as: originality and gameplay, in which I worked as UI artist. In Bloody Freddy, you get the role of a vampire called Freddy who's struggling to reach his way home and come out in one piece after a long life surviving from the sun.
